Dr. Miroj Shakya, Associate Professor and Chair of Religious Studies at UWest, had the honor of presenting a Plenary Address on “Safeguarding the Past for Future Generations: The Rare Sanskrit Buddhist Manuscript Preservation Project” at the three-day national conference (online) on “The Legacy of Rahul Sankrityayan in the Era of Digital Humanities: Restoring Buddhist Manuscripts and Revitalizing the Gyan Bharatam Mission.”
This conference was organized by the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, in collaboration with the National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi.
